Grass, or turf, is a major part of most landscapes which creates a soft surface for playing or just sitting in the sun. A neatly kept lawn creates a feeling of open space and, when done right, can make a small yard feel bigger than if it is planted with bushes and shrubs.
There are a variety of lawn types suited to different conditions so we can help you choose the right lawn for your space. Some popular options include Buffalo, Couch & Kikuyu as they are hardy lawns that are self repairing because they grow from runners that spread out and establish new roots. For low traffic spaces, a Fescue lawn cut long, can enhance the look of your garden with it’s slender upright growth. As with all tufting species, however, Fescue will need over sewing to repair any damaged or worn patches so we only recommend this for low traffic spots.
Newly laid Kikuyu turf creates a hardy, soft surface to relax on. The staggered joins grow in quickly and usually disappear after the first mow.
